The municipality of Tuusula requests bids for the coordination services of art acquisitions in the municipality's area. Rykmentinpuisto's art program and art program steering group: The steering group prepares and directs the implementation methods and practices for art acquisitions in accordance with the art program. That decides about artist selections and their criteria, the use of project funds, schedules, and acts as a contractual partner with artists. In separate projects, the contract partner is the management of each project. The art coordinator acts as the group's secretary and agrees with the chairman on the agenda. The art coordinator presents and implements alternative ways of acquiring art for the respective object. The art coordinator works as a promoter of the practical matters of the artist, the client and the construction contract. The coordinator takes care of communication according to the schedules of the contracts. Duties also include the preparation of artist contracts. The estimated annual need is approx. 120h and meetings, which are held approximately once a month (in addition, different phases of the projects require a different number of meetings). For other projects, the coordination is for the duration of each contract. Ongoing projects: implementation (ongoing)• Lahela school, daycare and youth center (estimated approx. 300-400h, autumn 2026-autumn 2029), aiming to start in autumn 2026.
