Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District is seeking System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses that can provide ARIS (Adaptive Resolution Imaging Sonar) 1800 Explorer - AR3 for Underwater Imaging Sonar and Rotator Dual Frequency- High Resolution Imaging, and Software, Cables with reek, Transit Case and Concentrator Lens on a brand name basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This authority is applicable to brand name justifications in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c)(1).
ARIS (Adaptive Resolution Imaging Sonar) 1800 Explorer - Dual Frequency-High Resolution Imaging Sonar, Software, Cables, and Acoustic Lens Camera shall have the following Technical Specifications:
1) Shall operate at dual-frequencies of 1.8 MHz and 1.1 MHz to produce acceptable, high quality images; 2) Shall be capable of producing real-time, near video quality images (minimum of 15 frames per second) in zero visibility and turbid environments;
3) Shall have an adjustable imaging range scale out to a maximum of 35 meters during low frequency operation and a minimum of 15 meters during high frequency operation;
4) Shall have the ability to focus sonar images throughout the imaging range;
5) Shall provide a 3-axis underwater rotator that allows for the imaging sonar to provide Pan / Tilt / Roll capabilities remotely. Underwater rotator must be able to provide a vertical perspective of the target and supplied with a joystick.
6) Operating Software should be capable of operating both the imaging sonar and underwater rotator / pan-tilt mechanism via a single cable assembly running topside to surface.
7) Imaging sonar shall operate with low power consumption (15-20 w) for extended unattended and remote operation. When coupled with the underwater rotator the power consumption should...
