In March of 2025, one of the two ice plant compressors at the Archibald Arena failed resulting in the immediate shut down of the ice plant. In order for the ice plant to be operational for the 2025-2026 program season, the compressor is required to be replaced. The City of Saskatoon requires a Refrigeration Contractor for the replacement of the failed compressor and associated equipment at the Archibald Arena. The construction schedule is critical to meet the required deadline for the beginning of the 2025-2026 program season in October of 2025.
