The objective of the project is to carry out corrective measures to follow up on the protection and electric arc coordination study and electrical condition assessment of the Jos Hebert building at 701 Laure Sept-Îles, carried out as part of project GOC1840124 in March 2023. The advancing age of equipment can make it more likely to break down, which can cause significant disruptions to electrical operations. It is therefore recommended to prioritize the replacement of this critical equipment in order to to ensure the reliability and security of the electrical system as a whole. Investment in the modernization of critical equipment will make it possible to: • Improve the performance and durability of the installation. • Minimize the risks of incidents and risks of electric arcs. • Reduce the costs linked to repairs and service interruptions. The work of this project consists of replacing the electrical components identified in the Arcs Flash study GOC1840124 which are: • Panels of distribution 1-01-L3N1 347/600V 225A to be replaced.• Distribution panels 1-1S-D3N3 347/600V 250A to be replaced but the 70A circuit breakers (4) which are in the panel are not to be replaced and have made the locations free.• Distribution panels 1-A-D3N1 install a mounting kit for the new 22KA circuit breaker as specified in study GOC1840124. • Replacement CCM 1-A-M6N1 motor control center.
