The pier to be built is sundeck, which is only used as a lounge deck. The builder is the Public Areas service of the city of Helsinki's urban environment department, which also acts as a customer in accordance with YSE 98. The works according to the contract documents must be ready and received and the inspections required by the authorities and inspecting institutions have been approved on 15 September 2026. The form of the contract is an overall contract, in which the contractor selected for the work acts as the main contractor as intended by YSE and the legislation as the main implementer. The contractor is responsible for the management duties and site services of the construction site. The work is done as a total price contract.
