Introduction On December 21, 2023, the Transport Regional Council definitively determined the Regional Mobility Plan 2030-2050. On December 23, 2023, the Flemish Minister for Mobility and Public Works, Lydia Peeters, officially approved the Regional Mobility Plan 2030-2050 for the Ghent Transport Region. The Regional Mobility Plan 2030-2050 signs the future of mobility in the Ghent transport region and contains actions for local and upper local authorities to realize that vision for the future. The action plan (part of the Regional Mobility Plan 2030-2050) translates the various strategies To concrete actions. The present spatial implementation plan fits within the strategy "Traffic-lively Mazen in a connecting road network" and fits more specifically within the spearhead "Connecting and Robust Head and Dragend Road Network". This spatial implementation plan implements the Action "Guarantee traffic -freeness on the supporting road network". This promotion is once again subdivided into sub -actions, in particular the implementation of measures to guarantee traffic -liveability on the supporting road network: Merelbeke (N444), Deinze (N43) and Kaprijke (N456) (Weren International Sneak traffic). For Deinze, the Regional Mobility Plan 2030-2050 is proposed for the Ghent Transport Region to cut the N43 for through traffic in the core and via a new connection south of the N43 traffic to the N35 in Leiden (a city boulevard of the Gentsesteenweg ...
