(Enmax) for Approval of Its Z Factor/Type 1 Green Line Light Rail Transit Distribution Relocation and New Service Connection Costs Application. Specifically, Enmax is Seeking Approval for Its Capital Treatment to Fund Its Infrastructure Relocation for the City of Calgarys Green Line Lrt Project. This Proceeding is Somewhat Unique in that It is Providing the Auc with Two Alternative Proposals. One Proposal Would Require the Auc to Approve Z Factor Adjustments Typically used for Exogenous Events Such As Storms, that Are Both Outside Managements Control and Unforeseen. the Z Factor Adjustments Proposed Total $14.15 Million. the Other Option is to Approve the Use Type 1 Capital Tracker Adjustments Totaling $15.29 Million. Type 1 Capital Trackers Are Intended to be used for Extraordinary Events. Each Capital Treatment Method Has Various Applicable Criteria, Including a Materiality Threshold, and the Interpretation of These will be Paramount in This Proceeding. the Expert will Assist the Uca in Test This Application and the Proposed Options, Including the Underpinning Criteria.
