The main work phases of the contract are, among others:- Surface structure replacement works.- Frost protection measures, e.g. renewals, removals and installations of frost plates - Adjustment of electric track contact wire - New and old derailment the dismantled rails are temporarily grounded in the areas where people move - Collection of old scrapable rails and sleepers with poor condition/P brackets removed from the track for disposal - Old poor condition/P brackets disposal of sleepers - Collection and storage of usable rails and sleepers (W14) dismantled from the Kaipiai railway. - Replacement and renewal of Pandrol springs and insulators for areas where the P-spring rail attachment is removed, but the Pandrol rungs are not replaced- After rail installations and welding, UÄ inspection for the rails of the entire contract area. Repair of rail defects found in the inspection in the work area. Other superstructure works: - The contract includes D and * class detected by the track inspection wagon (Meeri). elimination of errors (superstructure and electrical track). Applies to the portion of the renewed support layer in the contract, always before the post-support (=through support) carried out in June of the following year.
