Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, firm fixed price, non-personal services contract to perform Application Development of 360 Degree Virtual Reality for Agitated Patients and Caregivers for the Central Arkansas Veterans HealthCare System (CAVHS), Little Rock, AR.This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Central Arkansas Veterans HealthCare System (CAVHS), Little Rock, AR. has a requirement for a contractor to develop a Agitation 360 program. Agitation 360 will be a virtual tour of a simple home situation with an agitated patient and a caregiver. Based on market research and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that the Emerging Analytics Center (EAC) at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) is the only vendor capable of providing the services to military veterans. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotations, or expressions of interest. However, interested parties who disagree with this action may submit a letter of interest that demonstrates your firm s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition to include a rationale for why you should be considered. The Government reserves the right to vet/verify any documentation submitted with the OEM to certify its authenticity. This notice will be distributed solely through this website.
