INVITATION TO BID DEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS AND GENERAL SERVICES STATE OF VERMONT Contractors are invited to bid on the Agency of Transportation, Perimeter Fence Installation Project at the following locations: Caledonia County Airport, 2107 Pudding Hill Rd, Lyndonville, VT 058 Middlebury State Airport, 467 Airport Rd, Middlebury, VT 05753 and the Morrisville Stowe Airport located at 2305 Laporte Rd, Morrisville, VT 05661 This project consists of, but is not limited to Proposed chain link fence at new locations and improvements to the existing fence will be made at Morrisville-Stowe (KMVL), Middlebury (K6B0) and Caledonia Co. (KCDA) State Airports. This project is intended to completely enclose these facilities with perimeter fencing. The project includes tree clearing along select portions of the fence line, installation of approximately 22, 500 linear feet of six and eight-foot-high PVC coated chain link fence, installation of approximately 25 gates of various types and sizes, installation of 8 mechanical gate operators with associated underground electrical power supply and removal of approximately 8, 500 linear feet of existing fence. Sealed Bids accompanied by proper Bid Security will be received by the Department of Buildings and General Services, at 109 State Street, Montpelier, Vermont 05609-3001, until 1:00 PM, April 19, 2017, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud in the department conference room.
