This is a presolicitation notice; this is not a solicitation for a Request for Proposal, Invitation to Bid, or a commitment, implied or otherwise, that AFTC/PZZF will take procurement action in the matter. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this posting or any follow-up information requests.
The purpose of this notification is to inform industry of the USAF-s intent of contract action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, etc.) please do not request a copy of solicitation, as one does not exist.
The AFTC Contracting Directorate (AFTC/PZZF), Edwards AFB intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by RFO 6.103-1, to SAE International, 400 Commonwealth Dr., Warrendale, PA 15096.
The applicable NAICS is 519210; Libraries and Archives, with a size standard of $21M.
The following is a brief description of the acquisition requirements:
1. SAE Digital Library Technical Papers 1998 to Present for 50 Users / 1 Location(s)
2. SAE Digital Library Standards AS for 50 Users / 1 Location(s)
3. SAE Digital Library Standards AMS for 25 Users / 1 Location(s)
This will be a base contract plus three option years.
There are no solicitation documents; however, any vendors that believe they can meet the requirements described should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government-s requirement.
