Description : The ASWF Project was started to replace the Multipurpose M-Frigates of the Netherlands and Belgian Navy. The task of the ASWF is to protect maritime operation areas and transport routes by sea against surface, subsurface and aerial threats, with a focus on subsurface threats.This subproject of the overaal ASWF project concerns the communication suite. This is the internal and external communication system that will be installed on the ASWF. This communication suite includes antenna tuning units, voice terminals and radio communication systems. The antennas themselves are Government Furnished Equipment, the interfaces with the antennas are a part of this Subproject.
