Tenders are invited for Anchovy Integrated Infrastructure Project
Scope:
The scope of works involves Installation of approximately 9.8km of 200mm diameter D.I. pumping
transmission main from Shettlewood Springs to Montpelier, and from Montpelier to Mount Carey relifts station. The installation of 2.0Km of 150mm diameter D.I pumping transmission main from Mount
Carey re-lift station to the existing Nelson storage tank (100, 000 gallons) in Comfort Hall. The Nelson
Tank is to be refurbished as it is the main storage facility. The access road to the Nelson tank will also
be rehabilitated. The scope also includes full reinstatement of the roadway associated with these
transmission mains. The scope also includes the supply and installation of 2 pumps at Shettlewood
Springs, and also 2 pumps at the Mount Carey Lift Station. The electrical works associated with the
installation of these pumps is also included. A motor control centre is to be constructed with additional
electrical and mechanical work to support the system.
Construction period is twelve (12) months.
All Bidders must be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) at the time of bid opening in the
category, Civil Engineering Works Grade 1. Where bidders will be using a sub-contractor in accordance
with BDS Clause 38.2, the relevant PPC registration documents (Electrical Works Grade 2 and Mechanical
Works Grade 2) for that sub-Contractor(s) must be presented with the bid.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents (on CD) at the Jamaica Social Investment Fund at the address above from Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred Jamaican Dollars (J$2, 500.00). All bids must be submitted in printed copy. Original and Copy of the bid must be submitted in accordance with Instruction to Bidders.
Bids must be delivered to the address below by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address above at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
