The services entrusted to the holder will be analog and mixed block layout services. These blocks will be described in the form of annotated diagrams available in a Cadence database when the task starts. A circuit database integrated brings together all the diagrams constituting the circuit, organized hierarchically. The physical implementation of these diagrams will be done in several stages and at several granularities. They can be described as follows: Layout of a block diagram : -Analysis of the diagram: oIdentification of sensitive points, topological constraints, implementation precautions to take oProposal of a floorplan of the block and evaluation of the surface area -Creation of the layout: oPlacement and connection of components oProposal for minor modification to the diagram if relevant -Carrying out checks: oDRC oLVS At the end of the layout steps, schematic views integrating the parasitic elements induced by the physical implementation are extracted and simulated. by CEA designers to validate the suitability of the layout with the expected performance. In the event of insufficient performance, a rework for optimization of the layout may be requested.
