Email: Login to see tender_detailsLogin to see details Tender Details An LC-MS IM-QTOF mass spectrometer EPFL plans to acquire an LC-MS IM-QTOF mass spectrometer equipped with an additional dimension of ion mobility separation, for the ISIC mass spectrometry and elemental analysis platform (ISIC-MSEAP) of the Faculty of Basic Sciences (SB). This equipment will be dedicated to LC-HRMS, MS/MS measurements with added ion mobility. Given the breadth of research areas covered at EPFL, our platform must meet the daily challenge to analyze and provide analytical support for an extremely wide range of compounds (small organic, organometallic molecules, polymers and biomolecules), matrices and applications. These challenges mainly involve offering the range the widest possible range of fractionation strategies before HRMS detection, as well as ionization sources, in order to meet the great diversity of our analytical needs. Intended for use within a technology platform, emphasis will be placed on operational robustness, ease of maintenance, as well as a compact and ergonomic design.
