Summary of the purchase: Consulting services include providing support for the national interest of the Litani River through the appointment of an advisory engineer (OE) to supervise the project to enhance renewable energy and strengthen the electrical system in Lebanon. The tasks of the consultant engineer include the following: Providing technical support to rehabilitate and replace the main electricity generation equipment in addition to monitoring and control systems in the hydroelectric power plants in John, the first and a compound including, but not limited to, rehabilitation of turbines, replacement of speed organizations including supplying spare parts, rehabilitation of voltage organizations and replacing control and protection systems. Including the supply and installation of monitoring equipment, cracks in the dam base and maintenance of the main Sukoura. Supervising the preparation and implementation of tender including the development of supply documents, assessing offers and supporting contractual negotiations. Monitoring implementation work, with a focus on technical, environmental, social and financial aspects to ensure compliance with the standards of the World Bank and the standards of the national interest of the Litani River.
