ANNOUNCEMENT CITY & COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC WORKS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS As Needed Historical Preservation Specialty Services 2026 Sourcing Event ID 11680 San Francisco Public Works (“Public Works”), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (“City”), is issuing this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ” or “Solicitation”) to solicit proposals from qualified consultants and or joint venture (JV) firms (“Proposers”). Public Works seeks professional services in Historic Preservation Specialty Services, and other related services on City projects, on an as-needed basis. Projects may include a wide range of City-owned facilities, such as civic buildings (office buildings, libraries, cultural centers), public safety facilities (fire and police stations), recreation facilities (recreation centers, clubhouses, pools), healthcare facilities (clinics and acute care interiors), infrastructure projects (pump stations, transportation facilities, EV charging stations), homeless shelters, and correctional facilities. The LBE Subconsulting Participation Requirement for this Contract is waived. Public Works encourages responses from City & County of San Francisco certified Local Business Enterprises (LBEs). The City anticipates award up to four (4) master agreements, each with a not-to-exceed (“NTE”) value of $1, 000, 000 over the five-year term. Public Works reserves the right, consistent with City contracting requirements, to adjust the number of contracts. Since this is an “As-Needed” contract, award of a master agreement does not guarantee that the selected firms will perform all or any portion of the services described in this RFQ, nor does it guarantee that the maximum amount will be expended.
