The proposed contract modification will increase the LOE by an estimated 111, 597 labor hours within the current contract period of performance, with an estimated cost increase of $38M. Transitioning to a non-OEM vendor will cause unacceptable fielding delays and will directly degrade Fleet mission readiness and jeopardize cooperative U.S. and Australian defense projects.
