The project “Akraneshöfn - Nyr hafnarbakki við Aðalhafnargarð“ is constructing a new quay at Akranes, dredging 94, 000 m3, backfill and quarry run of 96, 305 m3, electrical cables of approx. 2, 500 m and pipes 1, 350 m and asphalt surfaces 8, 750 m2. The new quay is a 245 meter long steel sheets piles with a concrete cap with mooring bollards, ladders and fenders. The steel sheet piles will be anchored by 79 pieces of tie rods. Steel sheet piles and anchorage material is provided by the buyer. There will be built a utilities house of 15 m2. Also shall be installed: storm bollards, lighting masts, completing junction boxes and manholes for electricity connection, installment of snow melting pipes in the cap, pipes for cold utility water, hot utility water and sea water pipes. The quay will have asphalt pavement surface.
