This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), W913E525Q0010

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 20225-04.

The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336120 - Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing which has a small business size standard of 1, 500 employees.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, New Hampshire has a requirement for a contractor to provide four (4) tracked and two (2) wheeled Antarctic-capable Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) platform vehicles (prime movers).

This requirement is for the prime movers only, as the fire suppression system production and integration will be performed under a separate, future contract with a to-be-determined fire suppression system manufacturer. Upon delivery of the completed six (6) ARFF systems to CRREL in Hanover, NH, the Government will transport the ARFF prime movers to the National Science Foundation (NSF) facility in McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

Product Specifications: A partly custom solution is required consisting of commercially available wheeled and tracked, low ground pressure, 7.5-ton payload vehicles that will have separate, integrated commercially available fire suppression systems.
