A. THE DELIVERABLES1. BackgroundOrnge is seeking to prequalify air ambulance providers described in Appendix B. Air ambulance services are primarily at the Primary Care Paramedic (“PCP”) level of care, with some requirement at the Advance Care Paramedic (“ACP”) and or PCP/Flight Registered Nurse (“F-RN”) level of care. Services will also include ad-hoc charter air transports within the service area not limited to Ornge Teams, Mental Health Teams, Hospital Teams, Escort repatriation, Vaccine and medical related transports, Medical Human Health Resources (“HHR) Charters. Ornge will invite qualified proponents through a second stage procurement.Respondents should note that they may submit aircraft that fall into more than one (1) aircraft tier, however, each aircraft submitted may be submitted in one (1) tier only.Once a respondent has been evaluated and have been added to the pre-qualified list, the respondent may be invited to future air ambulance services opportunities.DeliverablesOrnge seeks to have the following: Kitchener One (1) Tier 1 aircraft to provide PCP, PCP/ACP or PCP/F-RN services. Sioux Lookout Two (2) Tier 1 aircraft and one (1) air operator to provide PCP services. Sudbury Five (5) aircraft and up to three (3) air operators to provide PCP services.
