The Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located in Durham, NC is seeking potential sources capable of performing AHU24 steam coil replacement services.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning Contractors: Size standard $19.0M.
Statement of Work: The Contractor shall provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, quality control, and technical expertise to procure, remove and replace the heating coils for AHU24 in the Warehouse, Building 1, B-wing. This is a turn-key request with the Contractor providing all the parts and performing all the work.
Remove steam/heating hot water coils from AHU24.
Procure new Steam Coils.
Install new steam/heating hot water coils in AHU24.
Let steam/heating hot water flow through the coils and check for leaks and operation.
Repair leaks and/or operation as needed after coils installed and system is brought online.
Coordinate all work with COR and Operations Supervisor.
