NVE has built a dam in Olderalen in Kåfjord municipality. The dam is 205 meters long, including height from 11-14 meters and was completed in 2019. The lee side of the dam has suffered damage as a result of surface slides. A slope base of crushed rock is to be constructed, with a ditch that diverts surface water, the base of the embankment serves as an access road through the construction period. The need for purchase is assumed: 6400 tonnes (4000m³) 0-300 mm crushed rock. 750 tonnes (500m³) 20-120 mm crushed rock. The client estimates that the acquisition has a value of NOK 1, 450, 000 for the client's total consumption of the agreement's products/services during the contract period. The estimate is based on today's price level and krone value. The start date is tentatively from the end of June/July 2026.
