AF18/564 Fire Detection and Emergency System Upgrade
Description : The City of Mount Gambier invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the provision of certain works and services in connection with the upgrading of its fire detection and emergency management system located at 10 Watson Terrace Mount Gambier, South Australia.The Civic Centre and the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre is jointly owned and occupied by the City of Mount Gambier and the South Australian Arts Trust (Country Arts SA). By way of a Memorandum of Understanding this project is being undertaken jointly by both Country Arts SA and the City of Mount Gambier. It has been agreed that the City of Mount Gambier will take the leadership role in the management of this project, including the tender process.The works and services to be undertaken are detailed in the tender specifications and include (in summary) the replacement of the existing main fire indicator panel and the adjacent emergency warning and intercommunication system (EWIS) panel and components.It is envisaged that the project will commence in May 2019 and be completed no later than 30 June 2019.
