Aeronautical Expertise - Technical and Regulatory Consultancy - Infrastructure and Air Operations at Sea As part of the development of the offshore wind sector, the Multi-year Energy Program (PPE) sets a timetable indicating, for in the coming years, the location and maximum power of offshore wind farm projects, whether installed or floating, to be put into competition. For each call for tenders, studies are carried out by RTE on the area where the offshore substation is located, property of RTE from AO3 Dunkirk. In order to guarantee an availability rate for its Offshore Stations (PEM), RTE has included in its Operation & Maintenance strategy the use of helicopters in addition to nautical resources. This aerial means allows faster travel while avoiding difficult sea conditions. Air operations and dedicated infrastructures are subject to regulations and recommendations whose understanding and volume require a expertise in this area.
