The Government of Manitoba, Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures, Forestry and Peatlands Branch is seeking vendors to conduct systematic aerial sketch mapping surveys to identify and map forest disturbances from forest pests and abiotic factors. Aerial sketch mapping survey services will use a systematic, province-wide grid to assess the extent and severity of forest health impacts that are caused by insects, diseases, and/or environmental conditions on forests in Manitoba. Mapping services include drawing polygons that encompass the location and extent of a forest disturbance, as well as identifying the disturbance type, severity, and dispersion within the polygons drawn.
