Tender Details

The City of Nîmes wishes to take a new step in the design and implementation of its projects by giving a greater place to citizen participation. This ambition reflects a strong desire to make citizens actors in their territory and to recognize their knowledge of the city, their daily experiences and their ability to contribute to the improvement of public policies. The municipality intends to make consultation the common thread of its projects structuring, capable of contributing sustainably to the way of imagining, designing and implementing the city. The City also expects this approach to contribute to renewing citizen engagement and strengthening links between residents and to create accessible and constructive spaces for dialogue. Consultation must bring out a collective voice, connect initiatives and enable the fruitful confrontation of different points of view. Participation Citizenship is thus seen as a lever for cohesion, cooperation and appropriation of territorial transformations. Through this consultation, the City wishes in this context to retain a service provider specialized in advice and implementation consultation procedures. As part of this consultation, the City of Nîmes acts as the contracting authority.
