Tender Details

Information related to the advanced helicopter training system (ahts) requirements was previously posted under solicitation number n6134017r9999, us navy advanced helicopter training system (ahts) special notice. This announcement, n6134019r0007, serves to:

-establish the ahts aircraft as a separate and distinct fedbizopps posting for purposes of propagating aircraft specific draft documents for industry comment and the subsequent issuance of the solicitation.

-release the draft th-xx (aircraft only) performance work statement for industry comment (please note, the associated contract data requirements list is not being released at this time).

-provide notification that future aircraft specific procurement documents will not be concurrently posted on the neco website. Fedbizopps will be the sole posting repository.

-advise that legacy documents associated with the ahts procurement may be found under n6134017r9999.

-re-emphasize the governments intent to utilize federal acquisition regulation part 12 procedures.

While future opportunities for comment will be provided upon issuance of the anticipated draft request for proposal, in order to afford ample time for review, the government has elected to release the draft aircraft performance work statement for comment.

While there are no limits on the length of industry submissions, we value concise, issue-specific responses with reference to performance work statement page and section numbers. Responses shall be submitted no later than 05 october 2018.

The procuring contracting officer for this posting is mr. Blake a. Strickland (blake.strickland@navy.mil). Questions regarding this posting and industry comments to the draft performance work statement should be directed to navair contracts specialist ms. Hayley graham at hayley.graham@navy.mil, with a copy to ms. Alana nunez-bennett at alana.nunez-bennett@navy.mil and blake a. Strickland.
