Advance notification, HUS Lohja hospital, heating system change This advance notice concerns the procurement related to the change in the heating system of Lohja Hospital and the KVR contractor responsible for the new air-water heat pump system, i.e. VILP system suunnittelusta ja toteuttamisesta nykyiselle sairaala-alueelle. The contractor designs the equipment based on the boundary conditions set by the customer, is responsible for the procurement of suitable equipment and the implementation according to the scope of the contract. The job has a purpose also includes a service period that includes an energy saving guarantee and a maintenance contract. The content and duration of the service period will be defined in more detail during the procurement. The goal of the project is to reduce the total heating costs of Lohja Hospital and reduces emissions from heating. The location of the project is the thermal center of Lohja Hospital and its surroundings. The VILP system with a heating capacity of approximately 1.5 MW implemented in the procurement will be connected to the existing district heating network of the hospital area. As for construction engineering works, the construction of a new technical space with LVIAS works, earthworks and the construction of a VILP fence and retaining wall will be carried out as a separate contract. The form of the contract is KVR-based implementation as a national procurement. Acquisition according to the preliminary schedule, the request for participation will be published in August 2026, negotiations will be held before the publication of the final request for tenders and the final request for tenders will be published in October 2026.
