The city of Helsinki is planning the implementation of the basic improvement of the Rikhardinkatu library as a project management contract. The total scope of the project is 5, 025 brm², which includes an extension of 505 brm² including a courtyard covering into a warm interior. The project involves an extensive technical and architectural basic improvement. It also includes covering the courtyard, improving accessibility, renovating and clarifying the interior, ecologically sustainable solutions and the development of safety and control.
