Advance notice of Projects regarding coexistence between marine nature and offshore wind farms The Danish Environmental Protection Agency is planning a tender of up to DKK 15 million. DKK for projects that strengthen coexistence between offshore wind facilities and nature in the sea. It is expected that the Danish Environmental Protection Agency will make two or three contracts with projects of up to DKK 7 million each. DKK The projects must support that the development of offshore wind facilities can take place with the least possible negative effect on the surrounding nature and environment. Present projects are offered with the intention to secure more and better empirical data on the impact of the activities, in order to thereby strengthen the coexistence between sea wind and sea nature. If it is relevant and possible, the projects can also examine possible mitigation measures. Priority is given projects with a focus on the impacts from decommissioning, installation and operation of cables, as well as operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency expects the tender to be announced in mid-June 2026, with an offer deadline of the end of September 2026.
