Advance notice (informative market dialogue), Assembly of railway gears MARKET INFO The target of Markkinainfo is the assembly of railway gears that is being prepared for the needs of the Finnish Railways Agency. The purpose of the market information is to give it to potential customers prospective bidders with advance information about the future procurement. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The Finnish Railways Agency manages the state railway network and is responsible for the procurement of related materials. The procurement procures the assembly of railway gears in such a way that the final product meets the requirements all the technical and functional requirements set for it. Assembly includes the comprehensive manufacturing of gear elements, including all key structures and components, such as rails, rungs, fasteners, insulation parts, turning devices and control and heating systems. The gears are delivered as pre-assembled units to the construction site for installation. The gear is assembled according to the plans from new or refurbished parts. The gearbox assembly is divided into two for subtask: Subtask 1 (OT1) includes the assembly of a new gear according to the requirements.
