The Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC) is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to support the development of the S-490 Advanced Fire Behaviour Training Standard.The project includes assessment of the current national fire behaviour course structure, development of a revised S-490 training standard, facilitation of subject matter expert engagement, development of theoretical and practical assessments, and presentation of materials to the Training Working Group for review and approval.Optional course observation activities may also be included.Full project scope, deliverables, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria are outlined in the attached RFP document.
