TheNational Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Senacit) is committed to the promotion and preservation of culture, has the mission of promoting the country's scientific and technological development. His approach seeks to ensure that science and innovation are inclusive, respectful ofEnvironment and oriented to social welfare. The revitalization and teaching of Garifuna history are essential to strengthen cultural identity and promote respect for the ethnic diversity of Honduras. These actions contribute to the preservation of traditions, languages and customsthat are an integral part of the national heritage, through technological innovations. In addition, they encourage community pride and sensitize society in general about the cultural wealth of the Garifuna people.
