INTRODUCTION Within the framework of the constant search for improvement and efficiency in the activities developed by the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovationn (SENACIT) the need to carry out an exhaustive review of the monitoring and evaluation processes carried out by this institution has been identified. This diagnosis is essential to identify areas of opportunity, strengths and weaknesses in the current system, with the objective ofand optimize the management and performance of resources intended for the promotion of science, technology and innovation in Honduras. In this context, it has been proposed to hire a specialized consultancy to provide a detailed analysis and propose relevant recommendations toenhance the effectiveness and efficiency of monitoring and evaluation activities.
