This is a Sources Sought Notice for information only. This is not a request for quotes/proposals or an invitation for bids.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation. This notice is to determine the availability of small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required services.
Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources that are interested and capable of providing qualified administrative support to help develop and execute a detailed plan to establish a PHNSY & IMF Detachment in Guam and have it fully operational by 2024. This effort includes having adequate temporary and permanent facilities to support submarine maintenance, integration of the military and civilian workforce, processes and procedures for the execution of Intermediate Level maintenance, and all aspects of getting the required material to the mechanic.
Administrative professionals must have strong communication skills to complete their job duties in an effective manner (i.e. answering phones, writing emails, etc.). Regularly use a computer and various technology/software to complete duties. Organization is a primary factor in many administrative assistant-s daily duties to include handling appointment scheduling, calendars, meetings, etc.
Research topics associated with the Guam Detachment as required to be able to provide recommendations when needed on processes and procedures for Detachment stand up.
