Tender Details

The City of Pacifica (“City”) is seeking a qualified entity or individual (“Company”) to provide ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan services. The City anticipates selecting one firm to perform the services.Proposals are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).The project will identify potential noncompliant items and other physical barriers at City Right-of-Ways, buildings, recreational facilities and parking lots. The Consultant shall assist the City in developing the procedure and forms needed to conduct a Self-Evaluation in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Consultant shall provide evaluation services for site and program accessibility compliance to provide the basis for identification, prioritization, budgeting, and implementation of plans.The updated ADA Transition Plan will be used by the City in its continuing effort to comply with accessibility requirements as required by the ADA and State of California Access codes. In addition to the updated ADA Transition Plan, the Consultant shall develop a database that will aid the City in monitoring implementation progress and compliance in future projects.
