- Purpose of the contract (see art 2-1 of the consultation regulations) The purpose of this consultation is the purchase of a hauling vehicle whose function is to move the tram train on the pit tower (TEF) located in the maintenance workshops of the Le Havre tram network. This acquisition is part of the context of the creation of a third tram line which will lead to the delivery of new rolling stock of the Citadis 305 type (new generation Citadis tramway). Upon commissioning of this new project, planned for the last half of 2027, the territory will have a 27 km tram network operated with 30 Citadis trainsets which will cover approximately 1.8 million kilometers per year: - 22 Citadis 302 trainsets, currently in operation; - 8 Citadis 305 trainsets, soon to be acquired. The new trains ordered by the Urban Community are not compatible with the current hauling functionality
