The subject of procurement is the interpretation services needed by the different service areas of the city of Porvoo.
Professional interpretation ensures the legal protection of the parties to the conversation in the communication situation between the Subscriber's customer and this customer. The goal of interpreting is to convey messages accurately and in such a way that keternal equality is realized. The business interpreter's duty is to act professionally in the situation so that impartial and high-quality interpretation is possible. The key areas of a business interpreter's competence are the interpreter's operational readiness, mastery of both working languages, mastery of interpreting topics and interpretingseason skill. In their work, Asioimistulki are committed to complying with the appendix of Asioimistulki's professional code of conduct 2021, which defines work ethics guidelines and good interpreting practice.
Interpreting is mostly Finnish-foreign language-Finnish interpretation, but the customer also buys Swedish-foreign language-Swedish interpretation. Importsituations are in nature transactional interpreting with the authorities.
The service provider cannot offer a language to be interpreted through a relay language, but the interpretation takes place directly from the source language to the target language and vice versa with the help of one transactional interpreter.
The transactional interpreter must know the source and target languagesn cultures in sufficient quantity in terms of the assignment.
