The acquisition of this infrared spectroscopic ellipsometry equipment to characterize samples of different nature for applications in the area of ​​the integrated photonics, is linked to the "Micronanofabs-NTC Ictc- NTC- strategic plan 2021-2024" project funded by the direct concession ofsubsidy of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, according to Royal Decree 714/2024, of July 23. This subsidy is funded by the recovery and resilience mechanism of the European Union, established by Regulation (EU) 2020/2094 of the Council, of December 14, 2020, bywhich establishes an instrument of recovery of the European Union to support the recovery after the COVID-19 crisis, and regulated according to Regulation (EU) 2021/241 of the European Parliament and the Council of February 12, 2021, which establishes the recovery and resilience mechanism.This financing is legally linked to the performance of the actions included in the aforementioned component 17 of the PRTR. The action is also part of the strategic project for the recovery and economic transformation of microelectronics and semiconductors (belong chip), approved in theCouncil of Ministers of May 24, 2022. Specifically, the activities that will be carried out are integrated into action 1 of the I of said belong (Development of R & D+I on Vanguardia microprocessors and alternative architectures).
