Acquisition of Framework Agreement on Aviation Chemicals The purpose of the framework agreement is to cover the Armed Forces' needs for chemicals for the maintenance and repair of aircraft, including aircraft and helicopters in peace, emergency situations, armed conflict, crisis and war. Aircraft shall here also be interpreted to include missiles. The framework agreement must ensure access to products that are used in connection with maintenance and repair, in accordance with the requirements that follow from military airworthiness regulations. Reference is made to Part II General contract provisions, Appendix B (Requirement specification) and Appendix D (Price and product schedule) for a more detailed description of the scope of the procurement. The framework agreement's estimated value is NOK 50-75 million excl. VAT. The estimate is based on historical figures and/or expectations future use at the Client's best discretion. The forecast basis is uncertain due to the large product range, phasing out/phasing in of air systems and insufficient history for new platforms. Furthermore, global development, political guidelines, preparedness and changes in the composition of the client's aircraft lead to changes in future consumption. The framework agreement's maximum value is NOK 95 million excl. VAT Stakeholders are asked to note the guidance for the progress plan in Rules for the procurement section 2.3.1.
