Acquisition of a folder for ERACOM The ERACOM Romande School of Arts and Communication in Lausanne trains apprentices in the field of graphics industry and applied arts. ERACOM must replace its paper folder with the purchase of a new one machine. The paper folder is a machine for folding sheets of plano paper into notebooks. These notebooks can be designed and made in different ways; formats, number of pages, papers of various weights, papers of various structures. THE different products produced by this production tool are either finished products or semi-finished products. The products must meet the binding quality criteria in force in Switzerland which are regulated via a quality charter of the association employer DPSuisse. As the folder is part of a manufacturing process, it must also meet the needs of existing and future equipment. This machine will be used for apprentice training, for inter-company courses and for end-of-apprenticeship qualification procedures. It must be robust enough to be entrusted to people in training. Maintenance must be simple and all strategic elements must be easily accessible.
