The software service enables users of the service to reserve, cancel, transfer and confirm appointments, as well as review booked appointments (incl. dealing on behalf of them) in accordance with national developments. The comprehensive services of the appointment booking system will be expanded in the Itä-Uusimaa welfare area to primary health care, oral health care and social care. In the Itä-Uusimaa welfare area, electronic appointment booking has been used in limited services, but now that the area has switched to using only one supplier's customer and patient information system (Tieto / Lifecare), the service is to be expanded. in health care as well as in social care. Electronic appointment booking is intended to free up professionals' time from the phone, as well as streamline the customer's dealings, when the appointment can be booked regardless of time and place.
