The Ministry of Defense's Material and Procurement Agency (FMI) wants to investigate whether it is possible to replace the crane on the navy's transport ship Sleipner with a model with a longer range, faster lifting speed and the possibility of mounting a snubber or docking head for use when collecting material from the water surface. A new crane must be able to be integrated into Sleipner's existing systems. For the sake of the ship's stability, there is a clear requirement that the crane has a low weight and that the crane's center of gravity is centered around the foundation. FMI encourages the market to respond to this RFI and to attach all relevant information, product presentations and/or catalogs that the supplier may find relevant in connection with this market dialogue. After having received responses from the market to this RFI, FMI may follow up on the responses by contacting the suppliers or by holding meetings, if FMI considers that there is a need for this.
