Tender Details

The city of Espoo (later also the Customer) requests bids for archaeological research in the Espoo area. The customer creates a framework arrangement for each sub-area based on the tender, and a maximum of three (3) suppliers will be selected for each sub-area. Procurement is divided into three (3) sub-areas as follows:1. Section 1: Archaeological area studies, 2. Section 2: Archaeological site studies, and3. Subarea 3: Underwater archaeology studies. The duration of the agreement is four (4) years from the entry into force of the agreement. The estimated total value of the procurement for four years without VAT is 1, 150, 000 euros. The anticipated total value of the acquisition (VAT 0%) is divided by sub-area as follows:1. Subarea 1 "Archaeological area surveys": 250, 000 euros, 2. Sub-area 2 "Archaeological target surveys": 750, 000 euros, and3. Sub-area 3 "Underwater archaeological research": 150, 000 euros. Procurement preparation The procurement unit has prepared the procurement by evaluating the alternatives and competitive conditions on the market as well as the methods of implementing the procurement. The market survey notice has been published in HILMA on 5 March 2026. In the market survey industry players have been consulted in writing through market dialogue.
