Archaeological regional studies Archaeological site studies Underwater archaeological research This is not a request for tender but a notice of the planned competition! The city of Espoo will request bids for the procurement of archaeological research. The city of Espoo intends to select a maximum of three (3) suppliers for the following sub-areas for the framework arrangement to be formed on the basis of tendering by sub-area: 1. Archaeological regional studies, 2. Archaeological site studies, and 3. Underwater archaeological investigations. The purpose of this announcement is to shorten the deadlines in accordance with section 57 subsection 2 of the Procurement Act (1397/2016); the announcement is just preliminary information about the upcoming competition. This announcement does not solicit participation applications or offers. The information presented in the announcement is preliminary and may change during the tender preparation. According to the current estimated schedule, the request for tender will be published in August 2026. The contract period is planned to start in October-November 2026. The start date of the contract period is an estimate and the contract period begins when the procurement decision has gained legal force and the contract has been signed. The duration of the agreement is supposed to be for a fixed period of 4 years from the entry into force of the agreement. For procurement sub-area 1: Archaeological the services included in the regional studies will be announced in connection with the final tender request.
