The E-library is used with the E-library application, which can be downloaded to a mobile device from the application store or on a computer with a browser interface. The e-library is being developed in the E-library unit of the National Library. E-library https://github.com/topics/e-library is a branch of Lyrasis's The Palace Project https://github.com/thepalaceproject. Koodipoja's compatibility with Lyrasis has been central to our development process. We take advantage of the development work done by Lyrasis and use the same solutions as a basis for developing new features. The starting point for the features to be developed at any given time is the corresponding work done on Lyrasis when such is available. These features will be expanded to fit the operating model of the E-library, e.g. Suomi.fi login, passkey, loan reimbursement and classification of material.
