Scope of work and Deliverables
The Consultant is expected to fulfill the following in addition to any other task required:
Current Situation Assessment:
Conduct a thorough analysis of Hajjar Food's existing sales and marketing strategies, processes, and performance.
Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the current market.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the current business model and its limitations in expanding the market share.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify target customer segments and their preferences.
Analyze competitors' strategies, pricing, distribution channels, and marketing efforts.
Identify market trends, consumer demands, and potential opportunities for growth.
Sales Development Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive sales development strategy that aligns with Hajjar Food's vision of scaling up the business and diversifying the product range.
Define specific sales objectives, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Recommend suitable sales channels, including retail stores, online platforms, partnerships, and distribution networks.
Outline a pricing strategy that maximizes profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Product Diversification:
Assess the feasibility and market potential of introducing cow products and new SKU (both goat and cow) to the product range.
Provide recommendations on product development, branding, packaging, and pricing for the new additions.
Identify potential marketing channels and target customer segments for the new products.
Sales Process and Training:
Design a customized sales process that optimizes efficiency, customer relationship management, and conversion rates.
Develop sales scripts, training materials, and guidelines for the sales team.
Conduct a 3-day training session for the owner and the sales team to enhance their selling skills, product knowledge, and customer service.
Marketing and Promotional Strategies:
Recommend marketing and promotional strategies to raise brand awareness, attract new customers, and retain existing ones.
Develop a marketing plan with a mix of online and offline marketing activities, including social media campaigns, advertising, public relations, and events.
Identify potential partnerships or collaborations to increase brand visibility and reach.
Deliverables:
Current Situation Assessment Report:
A comprehensive report detailing the analysis of the current sales and marketing strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Market Research and Analysis Report:
A detailed report presenting the findings of the market research, including target customer segments, competitor analysis, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Sales Development Strategy:
A strategic document outlining the sales development strategy, objectives, targets, KPIs, sales channels, pricing strategy, and recommendations for growth.
Product Diversification Plan:
A plan detailing the feasibility and market potential of introducing cow products and new SKU, including product development, branding, packaging, pricing, and target customer segments.
Sales Process and Training Materials:
Customized sales process documentation, sales scripts, training materials, and guidelines to enhance the sales team's performance and effectiveness.
Marketing and Promotional Plan:
A comprehensive marketing plan with strategies, tactics, and recommended activities to raise brand awareness, attract new customers, and retain existing ones.
Training Session:
Conduct a 3-day training session for the owner and the sales team, including presentations, interactive workshops, and role-playing exercises to improve their sales skills and product knowledge.
The consultant will provide these deliverables within the specified intervention period after working closely with Hajjar Food to develop a clear development plan for their expansion.
As part of the program-s Monitoring and Evaluation (ME&L) processes, the consultant is required to:
Deliver a briefing report to the program-s team.
Attending check-ins short meetings, if needed and required by the program-s team
Attending MEL induction meeting before the beginning of the session if requested by the program-s team
Conducting pre-post assessment, feedback and attendance as requested by the program team

Qualifications
Bachelor-s degree, MSc Degree in marketing, business administration, communications, economics, entrepreneurship, and international business and any other relevant field.
At least 15 years of experience in similar projects.
Excellent communications and report writing skills.
Fluent in English and Arabic
How to apply
The selected Consultant is expected to start his/her activities at the soonest after selection; the exact timeline and effective working days are to be set based on both the company-s and the Consultant-s availability not exceeding the end of November 2023. The total budget allocated for the intervention is within the range of USD 300/man-day.
Candidates should submit the following documents:
Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in section: “Scope of Work, Outputs, and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as annex) along with project references on the topic.
Financial Proposal describing the expected renumeration and the proposed timeline and Days of intervention.
