THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources, and if future efforts can be competitive or Set Aside for Small Business. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 335312 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1, 250 employees.
This SSS is to notify companies that the Defense Logistics Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is seeking qualified sources for AC, GENERATING SYSTEM: 6115-01-137-9504 with corresponding Part Numbers: 179-60500-11 in support of the CH-47 BK Chinook weapon system. Item is not a flight critical safety item. Contractor First Article Testing is Required. Non-Approved Sources require Source Approval.

The technical data for this part has undergone full screening per the DFARS PGI 217.7506, Spare Parts Breakout Program. The assigned AMC/AMSC is 1P. This item is suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time from the indicated approved source(s) of supply. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. The Government has access to the data but does not own the rights to the data. The rights ownership has been verified through the Project Management Office. There is no cause to contest the ownership of the rights. Reverse engineering is not feasible.
