The object of this acquisition is an absolute quantum gravimeter. The acquired equipment must meet the research needs of the Geospatial Information Center of the Land Surveying Institute, as well as the performance requirements set by the EU project "EQUIP-G". Our needs for a new gravimeter are:. 1. The device must be in both research and metrological use in a unit corresponding to the procurement unit elsewhere (reference requirement)2. The device must be suitable for both laboratory and field measurements3. The device must come with everything necessary equipment for operating the device both in the laboratory and in the field4. The device must be safe to use5. The expected service life of the device is at least 15 years6. The delivery time of the device must be less than 36 weeks from the order7. The device manufacturer must have representation in the EU customs area (warranty and maintenance situations)8. The delivery must include the necessary comprehensive documentation, either in Finnish or English, which explains the use and maintenance of the device. The purchased device will be used, among other things for determinations of the absolute value of gravity of the highest possible accuracy class (10 nm/s2) in laboratory conditions and field measurement conditions, as well as for continuous measurements from which time series of gravity are formed. The absolute gravimeter will also applicable to the measurement normal operation of gravity fall acceleration.
